We have a family member named Lillie Irving Bailey or Lillie Skelton Bailey (1863-1959) who was the daughter of Chief man Benjamin Walter "Wat" Bailey (1814-1899). From my family the Skelton line, she was married to John Washington Skelton (1855-1918). Mr. Bailey was tied very closely to George Skipper with Indian affairs centering around Nottoway, Virginia. Surrey, Virginia and Giles/Amelia, Virginia. Any information at all you can provide concerning the Bailey's and their heritage would be so greatly appreciated.
